Unlike other rental properties and hostels, 100% of the net revenue generated by our accommodations will be put towards carrying out the mission of Friends Forever International. About Us
Friends Forever International is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which believes we can all help build a better world by empowering our most underutilized asset: youth. FFI works with communities around the globe to build the leadership abilities of their youth from diverse backgrounds to tackle local and global issues. Since our founding in 1986, we have worked with more than 1,700 youth leaders from around the world.

FFI Center at Annalong (Annalong, Northern Ireland)
In between Belfast and Dublin and at the base of the gorgeous Mourne Mountains yet on the sea, it’s a perfect location for FFI to hosts guests and continue to provide leadership development programs, as well as partner with like-minded organizations. The Center includes one hostel for large groups and four private cottages.
This center will be an important part of our programs in the coming years, but we are also excited to offer private rentals of the cottages. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome organizations to host their programming or partner with FFI to run leadership programs for their schools, youth clubs, corporations, or NGOs. FFI plans to offer discounted rates for nonprofit and charity organizations to help support our vision of recognizing and supporting youth as the catalysts for building a better world.

The dormitory
Your booking is exclusive to your group, with 24/7 access to two conference rooms, the dining room and the kitchen. Plan sessions, cook together and gather whenever it suits your stay. Bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.

Seven nights in the dormitory: £5,250 instead of £7,000. The 25% discount also applies to cottage stays of seven nights or more.

Spar is down the street for supplies. EUROSPAR Barbican is at 35 Kilkeel Road. The harbour and community sports fields are next door, with Newcastle around twelve minutes away by car.

House rules and access
Credit cards are accepted. Guests have 24/7 access to their booked accommodation. The lift is in the dormitory building. Pets are allowed only in Baroni Cottage and only by prior arrangement.
Accessibility and support
The dormitory has a lift and an accessible bedroom with bathroom. Of the cottages, Baroni (Cottage 4) has an accessible bathroom. Caswell and Baroni are single storey; French and Conner have upstairs bedrooms. Confirm entrances, door widths, bathroom layout, bed setup, lift dimensions and routes for individual needs. Hoists, specialist equipment, personal care and a dedicated quiet or sensory room need separate confirmation.
Meals and kitchen use
The dormitory has its own commercial standard kitchen. Each cottage has its own kitchen. Spar is down the street for supplies. Friends Forever programmes serve plant based meals; confirm the rental kitchen policy, equipment use, dietary needs and any catering arrangements before booking.
Group activities and getting around
Bring your own programme or ask about possibilities. Community introductions, sports field use, facilitators and water activities need separate arrangements. Choose hiking and coastal routes around your group’s experience, mobility and the weather.
